it's a tuesday & the kids had the day off from school due to elections. (elections, ugh. i won't even go there.) i promised them we would take the next free day & pack a picnic & head to the lake. so that's what we did.
we were there for 10 seconds when this happened. face plant. she wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. we laughed first.

it was also free cone day at dairy queen so we hit that up after hubs got home & after we voted.
